The F1665A replacement trailer axle (Tie Down Engineering/Dexter Marine part number 200423) comes with the super lube spindle design for efficient and simple bearing greasing. The black powder coat finish on the beam helps prevent rust and corrosion. This axle comes with two loose spring seats, axle nuts, washers, and cotter pins. Spring seats must be welded to the beam before installation. A slight bend, also known as the camber, is present in the axle that must always be installed with the arc pointing up. This bend deflects under trailer load to help keep the tire tread wear even.

NOTE: We will only weld within the recommended spring center range provided by the manufacturer. Going inside or outside of this range may cause the strength of the axle to lessen or even a complete axle failure. Welded axles are non-returnable for any reason. When installing the axle, make sure that the camber bow is point up. This camber is designed to deflect the weight of the load once weight is applied to the trailer, essentially straightening out the axle to prevent uneven tire tread wear.
