Vortex Trailer Hubs

                Simple is best when it comes to wheel bearing lubrication. Tie Down has adapted the best features of grease and oil lubrication to develop the Vortex Hub, a top of the line product. The completely sealed lubrication chamber provides maximum lubrication with premium grade Lucas Oil Marine Grease. Lucas Oil marine grease is a premium lithium based complex fortified with rust and oxidation inhibitors, high pressure additives and provides a high degree of moisture resistance and washout properties. The hubs are pre-greased and assembled at the factory and should not require any additional adjustments. One of the many top of the line features is the threaded grease cap which allows simple removal and replacement should the need arise.  Banging on a grease cap with a hammer is a thing of the past. This compact system is designed to be a no mantenance hub for 6 years! A limited warranty of 6 years, 100,000 miles is backed by Tie Down Engineering.

TO MAINTAIN THE FACTORY WARRANTY, LUCAS OIL MARINE GREASE MUST BE USED WHEN ADDING OR REPLACING GREASE IN THE VORTEX HUB SHOULD THE NEED OCCUR (ITEM #11008CS).  VERY IMPORTANT: RE-CHECK LUG NUTS AFTER 25 MILES OF USE.
