This solenoid is built into all Tie Down Engineering brand disc brake actuators made after 9/01/2012. This lock out valve solenoid will aid in backing up the trailer by stopping the flow of hydraulic brake fluid when in reverse to prevent the brakes from locking up. The solenoid is activated by the tow vehicle's reverse lights.

Product Features:

Lock out valve prevents the brakes from locking up when in reverse

Can be used for drum brake systems

Electrical wire connects to the reverse lights of the tow vehicle

A 5 way connection or higher is required for operation

Includes a rubber O-ring for a tight fit

Can not be used with the drum brake model actuators
