A reverse flow style solenoid has three openings for brake fluid travel. Actuators must be pre-drilled and tapped to accept the return line from the solenoid. This UFP solenoid holds a slight advantage over stop flow style solenoids when backing up a hill. Backing up a hill with this reverse flow style solenoid will not allow the brakes to engage.
